How to Print or Xerox Aadhaar Card on One Page — Printer Settings

Wrong printer settings are the most common reason the card prints too small or too large. Use these settings every time:

Correct Aadhaar Card Size (UIDAI Standard)

The official size for a printed Aadhaar card — whether PVC or paper — is 8.56 cm × 5.4 cm, the same as a standard credit card (CR80 format). This tool automatically outputs at this exact size. You do not need to resize anything manually — the downloaded PDF is already scaled correctly.

If you need the size as a percentage for Word or Photoshop: set the image to 85.6 mm × 54 mm at 300 DPI for best print quality.

No. UIDAI issues only one Aadhaar number per person for life, linked to your biometrics. If you lost your card, you can download the e-Aadhaar again from uidai.gov.in using your registered mobile number.

Is Aadhaar card alone enough for PAN card application?

Aadhaar can be used as both proof of identity and proof of address for a PAN card application. However, requirements can change — check the NSDL or UTIITSL portal for the latest document requirements at the time of applying.
